Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Elissa Marie Design.

Ordering

You will receive an email with a description of your custom-designed garment and the total price, including fabrics and fitting schedule. We offer all our customers an easy payment schedule, with 20% required to confirm and place your order. Your fitting and payment schedule will then be generated and given to you at your first fitting.

Payment

We accept payment through direct bank transfer or cash. Please make your further payments are made on time as stated on your fitting and payment schedule, so as not to delay the design process.

Changes & Alterations

Your quote is inclusive of fabric and design details discussed in your design consultation and emailed description. We can make small changes throughout the process however, if during the making of your gown you would like to make any larger design changes or add additional details we will be happy to quote you for these extra services. If there is a large fluctuation in your measurements additional fees may apply to accommodate extra fabric for alterations.

Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our garments, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

Elissa Marie Design prides itself on outstanding quality and design. Please inspect and approve your garment of any faults or flaws before taking it from the studio on your last fitting. Please note that goods are faulty if they are deemed to contain a significant manufacturing fault. Our garments are hand-made with delicate and fragile fabrics and it is normal for there to be slight imperfections and inconsistencies in the fabric. We cannot be held liable for minor faults or flaws that are considered normal in handmade couture products.

Cancelations & Postponements

Elissa Marie Design will allow a deferment of your fitting schedule if your wedding/event is postponed. We can also put a hold on your further payments until the rest of your fittings commence.

In the event that you wedding/event is canceled please contact us to discuss options. Depending on the stage that your gown is at, we will try and accomodate where we can. However, a full refund will not be possible..
