It was so amazing working with this beautiful bride. The gown evolved as it was being made as she put complete trust in me to create something beautiful and unique for her. Firstly the subtle tone of the gown was a dreamy beginning, a soft silvery pearl. Steph, her mum, and sister’s then hand-selected a mesmerising micro beaded lace, with the most beautiful organic floral design. Details such as the pleated tulle paneling, silk ribbon, and embellished straps all unfolded during her couture fittings. I love the transparent hammered organza we chose for the skirt of Steph’s gown and the 2 metre train.
I also wanted to commend Steph and Jimmy for insisting on using predominately local Gippsland suppliers to contribute to their wedding. Especially in 2020/2021 it was a lovely gesture and so special in our shared local town of Warragul. Here are the talented businesses that brought Steph’s wedding ideas to life.
